"Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI)" Patna The Zonal Project Directorate ( Zonal Coordinating Unit), Zone-IV was established as a body to monitor and coordinate lab to land programmes conducted by 68 KVKs situated in Bihar and Jharkhand . Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Radha Mohan Singh laid foundation stone of Agricultural Technology Application and Research Institute (ATARI) at Patna, on 20th August 2015. ATARI Patna Zone IV started officially at the office premises located at Central Potato Research Station , Sahaynagar station Patna 80506. With an objective to provide a platform for various KVKs to interact, bridge and work the Zonal Project Directorate (ZPD), Zone-IV came into existence during the year 2017. A total number of 44 KVKs in Bihar and 24 KVKs in Jharkhand work under the monitoring and coordinating head of ATARI ,Patna Zone IV
