Vision 2030 ZPDK
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research is marching ahead with renewed vigour to face complex challenges and to harness domestic and global opportunities for the welfare of the farmers, consumers and other stakeholders in the food-supply chain. The efforts would be to become a leading organization in the world, which is responsive, vibrant and sensitive to the needs of its stakeholders.

Mission : Harness power of science and education with a human touch for higher and sustainable agricultural production.
Focus : To accomplish the vision and the mission of the ICAR it gives highest priority to farmers, and entire strategy is based on "farmer first". It is determined to continuously strive hard to transform the existing National Agricultural Research System into a vibrant National Agricultural Innovation System.
